Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Friendli Social mobile application, website, and related services (“Friendli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Friendli, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Friendli Social. By creating an account or using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Phone Number Verification

Friendli uses phone number verification to reduce spam, duplicate profiles, and unsafe activity. You agree to provide a valid phone number for verification. Carrier fees may apply.

4. User Conduct

When using Friendli, you agree NOT to:

  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Create fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Post illegal, violent, or sexually explicit content
  • Use Friendli for commercial solicitation without permission
  • Engage in scams, fraud, or deceptive conduct
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Events

Friendli allows users to discover, RSVP to, and host events. Friendli does not own, operate, or manage user-hosted events. You attend events at your own risk.

You acknowledge that:

  • Friendli is not responsible for event safety, logistics, or outcomes
  • Friendli does not screen event hosts or attendees
  • You assume all risk when attending any event

6. Premium Membership & Payments

Friendli may offer optional premium features. Payments are processed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. All purchases are subject to their terms, including billing, refunds, and recurring payments.

Friendli does not directly handle or store payment information and does not issue refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google.

7. In-App Advertising & Revenue Sharing

Friendli may display advertisements. Users who opt into content monetization agree to the separate Creator Monetization Terms provided within the app. Earnings are not guaranteed and are subject to compliance review.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post but grant Friendli a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt your content solely to operate and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you upload.

9. Privacy

Your use of Friendli is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Friendli if you violate these Terms. You may discontinue use of Friendli at any time by deleting your account.

11. Disclaimers

Friendli is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee event availability, reliability of user-generated content, or uninterrupted operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Friendli is not liable for:

  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Losses resulting from events attended
  • User conduct or third-party interactions
  • Data loss, service outages, or security breaches

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with Friendli is to stop using the service.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Friendli Social, LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

14. Third-Party Services

Friendli integrates with third-party services (e.g., Apple, Google, Firebase). Your use of these services is subject to their terms and policies. Friendli is not responsible for third-party failures, outages, or data breaches.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. Class actions and jury trials are waived. You may opt out of arbitration by contacting us within 30 days of creating your account.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Friendli after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
